Maybelline Colour Tattoo Gel Creme Eyeshadow Review

maybelline  ~ Makeup~

Eye shadow is something that I used to never really bother about but now I’ve built up a fair collection.  Most of the eye shadows I have are powder but I also have the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr eye shadows.  I purchased these after reading a lot of reviews by the likes of Lily Pebbles and Vivianna does Makeup saying that they were a must have in any makeup starter kit.

My verdict? Yes these eye shadows live up to the hype.  They are a gel/crème formula which means that they are easy to blend work with and the perfect base for applying any further eye shadow to.  They are so easy to apply and you really only need to use your fingers which makes it perfect to apply on the run.  They come in little pots as well which prevents any dirty palette which I would imagine would occur from this formula.

They do last a long time as well and don’t disintegrate during the day like I find many eye shadows to do.  They are super pigmented and yes I’d go as far to say as the best eye shadows the drugstore has to offer.

I’ve purchased on and on bronze and pink gold

  1. I really like the two colors you picked, I just recently bought gel eyeshadows and mine (from L’oreal) are also living up to the hype, if I see this one from Maybelline here in the US I’ll try it 🙂

  2. I bought these in the exact two shades a couple days ago and I was planning on writing a review over them next week! Great minds think alike;)
