~ Makeup~

Christmas time is the perfect opportunity to switch up your standard makeup look for something more festive . ie. glittery eye shadows and classic red lips which is exactly the makeup look I’ve decided to create for a few evenings.

All the makeup products I’ve used are drugstore but obviously if you have similar products then they will work just as well.

*Makeup Used*

L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Matte Foundation ( Shade 10)

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer 010 Ivory

Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit

Kiko Glow2 Blush and Highlighter Stick

Topshop Glow

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Holywood Eye Palette

Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

L’Oreal Paris Lip Couture Pencil 461 Scarlet Rose

The base I’ve chosen is matte which means that there wont be much shine to the skin which is why I’ve used the Topshop highlighter to add any shimmer I may want such as on the tops of cheekbones.

In the Holywood Eye Shadow palette I’ve used gold coin all over the lids with bookworm through the crease and enchanted over the lids to add glitter.

The contour kit looks quite scary but in actual fact if applied lightly it really is good at creating shadow in the cheekbones

As for eyes, I apply a thin layer of liquid liner for definition and a coat or 2 of mascara, however, false lashes would also work well with this look if you fancied going more dramatic.

I hope you liked this look and find it easy to replicate, the photo quality isn’t great as its just an i Phone snap  . Leave me a comment below
