LUSH Cupcake Face Mask Review

Hi Everyone! Today I have a review post for you on LUSH’s Cupcake Facemask as you will know if you’ve read my blog for a while my favourite LUSH facemask has been the Catastrophe Cosmetic which you can read in my blog post here. However, I have recently been trying the cupcake face mask and wanted to share with you my thoughts.

As I have oily skin that is prone to spots, the girl in store recommended me to try the cupcake facemask as it is supposed to be good at absorbing excess oil and calming breakouts.  Upon application, I noticed that the facemask is a lot thicker in consistency compared to the other facemask due to the cocoa butter therefore you don’t need to apply as much.

The scent for me personally, doesn’t smell as chocolatey as I would have imagined but rather more of peppermint due to the fact that it is has both peppermint and spearmint oils.  I find this mask very cooling on the skin and leave it on for 5-10 mins until it feels hard and looks cracked on the skin.

Once washed off, I notice that the redness on my skin has calmed down and any spots look less irritated.  I would recommend this facemask however I think I still prefer the catastrophe cosmetic as I feel that helps to limit my breakouts.

I hope you enjoyed reading this review, if your new leave me a comment below and remember to follow to keep up to date with my future posts

  1. Never tried this lush face mask before but my all time fav lush face mask is mask of magnaminty 😍😍 it works a dream with breakouts, so if you haven’t tried it I would highly recommend you give it a go 🙂

  2. All the masks that sound amazing are always for a different skin type than mine, including this one! I’d love a chocolate and peppermint mask haha
