July Favourites ’16

Hi Everyone! Happy August! Hope you are all well 🙂 I’ve debated whether or not to do a favourites this month as there hasn’t been an awful lot of new products that I loved in July, so I’ve decided to encorporate some lifestyle into this post.

*Benefit Goof Proof Pencil*

I mentioned in this post that I got a free Benefit product with the July issue of ELLE, the pencil is really amazing at filling in sparse brows both easily and without looking overly filled in *if that makes sense*.  I’ve never really found a brow product before that  I felt completely at ease with, but the proof is in that I’ve finished the sample and will bee purchasing this from a Benefit counter.

*Girl on the Train*

I started this book ironically on a train from London Victoria to Brighton and was already hooked from just a few chapters in.  I finished it very fast and am sad that its over because it was such an amazing read! If you have the chance, pick up this book its such a thrilling read and really lives up to the hype.  I’m glad I’ve read the book first as the film is coming out in October, which I can’t wait to see.

*Collab Dry Shampoo New York*

This is a fruity fragranced dry shampoo and what I like about the Collab range, aside from the jazzy packaging, is that they do dry shampoos that are small and able to be thrown into your handbag for application on the go.  I think its good for those days when your hair feels like it is due a wash but you want to eek it out that one day longer.

*Nivea Crème Care Cleansing Cream Wash*

I spoke in a previous post of how much I love this product which I stumbled upon in a Boots in London.  However, I have noticed that I cant find the almond version up here in Glasgow…mmhhh. Aside, the two products are the same as the product is super creamy and makes your skin feel super soft once washed off.

During July I visited Brighton for the day and fell in love with it.  I found the shops so quaint with all the independent shops, cute lanes and colourful bunting drapping across the buildings.  It was a really hot day when I visited so it felt even more so like a Summer’s day at the seaside.

I hope you enjoyed reading my July Favs! Be sure to tell me yours in the comments and feel free to follow my blog if your new.

I also am on Instagram @ clare95xo so feel free to say hi there as well!

  1. Great post! I’ve also read Girl On The Train on my holiday and as I was vlogging for my youtube channel, have managed to persuade others to read it too! Such a great book. Although, I’m not keen on the fact they’ve americanised it for the movie! It seems really sexualised and all fifty shades of grey in the trailer which I’m really not keen on…especially as in the book it was set (i think) where I live!! *sigh* at least we’ve read the book first! xx &
