2016 Makeup Favourites

Hi Everyone! I thought that before leaving 2016 behind I’d do a makeup round up of the products that I loved the most throughout the year. If you’ve read my blog for a while, I’m sure that you won’t be surprised at the 7 products that made the post.

*Collection Contour Kit*

Despite through trial and error I found the bronzer in this kit a tad too dark for my skin * not so bad for summer* I really enjoyed using the highlighter in this kit throughout the year.  Its a bargain in price and gives the most lovely shimmer to the cheekbones.

*L’Oréal Brow Artist Plumper*

I naturally have quite dark eyebrows so I don’t need to focus too much on filling them in but more on making them look more neat and setting them in place.  I really love this product for this and I’m glad that I found it in 2016.

*Barry M Lipstick 172 Bare It All*

I’ve gravitated more and more in the last few months towards more nude lipsticks as I find these the most flattering on me.  The Barry M Lipsticks are really creamy on the lips and have great pigmentation.  In particular, I love ‘Bare It All’ which is a peach toned brown perfect for everyday.

*L’Oréal True Match Foundation*

I rediscovered an old beauty favourite last year, True Match Foundation.  I hadn’t tried it since it was re-packaged and I really  love it.  L’Oréal are one of the only brands that nail my foundation shade and the formula of this is lovely.  Its not completely matte buy also not overly dewy a nice in between consistency.  It also gives fab coverage.

*Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette*

I got this eyeshadow palette for Christmas 2015 and I loved using it throughout the year.  The shades are all very wearable with great pigmentation.  I won’t ramble too much more about it because I’m sure you are all already aware of it but it is a gorgeous palette especially perfect for the Autumn/ Winter months.

*MAC Yash Lipstick*

Yash was my favourite MAC Lipstick that I purchased last year.  It is a bit like the Barry M one in colour, again quite a peachy toned cappuccino shade lovely for everyday.  This particular lipstick is matte which is even better as it lasts longer.
