Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas! I hope you had a lovely day and are enjoying Boxing Day. My day is consisting of eating all the cheese, crackers and chocolates watching the Call the Midwife Christmas Special *yass* and playing board games with the family.
Its become quite the tradition that on Boxing Day I do a ‘What I Got For Christmas Post’ I have a few birthdays in January so I enjoy reading these posts for some present inspiration. As always I’ve been truly spoiled in the present department and am super grateful for all the gifts!
My main present from the parents this year was a beautiful rose gold watch from Olivia Burton. Last Christmas I got an Olivia Burton watch with a pink strap and I’ve pretty much worn it every day this year. I’d never really been a watch person but the OB watches have certainly changed that. Aside from the watch, the packaging is super adorable with the floral & butterfly print and makes for the perfect every day and evening accessory.
As part of my present from my best friend, I got this super thoughtful mirror for my bag personalised with my dog’s face on it! *friend goals* I also got a personalised tin with my name on it filled with different soaps that are shaped like macaroons.
For Stocking Fillers, this year I got a book that I’ve been meaning to read for a few months now the Couple Next Door. I love reading thrillers and last year I really enjoyed reading the Girl on the Train so I think this book will be right up my street. I’m looking forward to doing a bit more reading now that I have a few weeks off uni. I also got a new mug in my stocking, this year a Starbucks one which looks like the perfect hot choc mug.
Another amazing gift mum and dad got me this year was the Tarte Cosmetics Treasure Trove Makeup Set I’ve always wanted to try Tarte makeup but the shipping costs have always put me off, but my mum, clearly has more patience than me. The palette has 24 eyeshadow shades a range of colours with some shimmers and others neutrals, 2 blushes, 2 bronzers, an eyeliner, mascara and liquid lipstick. So basically a makeup enthusiasts idea of heaven. Along with being really good quality the palette is scented of chocolate! It was such a generous gift to receive and I can’t wait to experiment with it and create new looks. I also got Victor and Rolf’s FlowerBomb which is a classic perfume that I’ve been wanting to own for a long time.
