Hi Everyone! I’m slowly peeling myself away from the couch, the tins of quality street have been demolished and uni deadlines are once again looming. As cliché as it is, I love the prospect of a brand new year, a fresh start and new goals.
Over the Christmas period I’ve definitely turned into the definition of a couch potato, there’s been a few days where I’ve lounged about in PJs all day long, slept in until midday and not left the house in days. *Just what the Dr ordered* Its been so chill. As much as I’ve enjoyed it, I’m now raring to go and get back into a routine.
For 2018, I want to get fitter and do more than just sit procrastinating on my laptop. I also want to do some more travelling, which, speaking of, hopefully next week I’ll be going on my first trip of the year! Focusing on my masters degree is my main priority for 2018, but, in saying that I do want to get a better work/ leisure balance which will no doubt come down to having an organised diary.
At the beginning of the year its all good and well to think about what we want to do to further ourselves, but this year especially I’d like to give something back/ do something for others. I’ve really enjoyed in the past making up Christmas parcels for the homeless so perhaps I could get involved in something of that vein this year.
Let me know your goals for the year ahead and be sure to follow the blog if your not already!

I’ve been loving your blog, I feel like you and I would get along. My “word of the year” that I’m focusing on is “more.” I’d like to read more books, travel more, go to more concerts, leave my house more, help the community more, etc. Excited for what 2018 holds!
