Hi Everyone! This is a post that I’ve been meaning to write for a while because I use some products on a daily basis that don’t necessarily receive the hype that they deserve to have. I’ve chosen a selection of products to chat through what I think of each of them.

First up, is the Highlight Sculpt palette from Collection which I’m sure you can tell has seen better days. I can’t remember the exact price of this product but it’s under £5 and is unbelievably good value for money. The bronzer makes for a perfect contour and the highlight is nice and subtle Its a product that I will definitely be re-purchasing.
A small compact palette that I also use on a daily basis is the Rimmel Sculpting Palette in the shade 002 Coral Glow. I think the idea of this product is genius to have a bronzer, highlighter and blush all condensed in the one palette. In particular, the blush in this palette is very pigmented so a little goes a long way.

Another highlighter *kinda obsessed* The Topshop highlighter is in a cream formula and I’d say has extra glitter pigments in it compared to the Collection one. I like cream highlighters because they blend into the skin easily and help create a healthy glow to the cheekbones. This highlighter can definitely be also used on a night out as it can be built up.
Moving away briefly from base products, Collection have a line of matte lip creams that emulate that of NYX for half the price. I have the shade ‘1 Cotton Candy” which is a raspberry pink shade. To avoid these products drying out my lips, I tend to apply some vaseline prior to applying it.
Out of all the products in this post, the one that I think may have received a degree of recognition is Maybelline Lash Sensational Intense Black Mascara. The wand on this product is perhaps the reason why I love this mascara because it helps to curl the lashes and separate them whilst giving volume.
I hope that this post gave you some inspiration to try some budget makeup products that aren’t necessarily spoken about much. Leave me a comment and follow the blog if you are new!
