Easter & Catch Up

Easter.jpg

Hi Everyone and Happy Easter! I’d hoped to get more Easter themed content out before Easter itself but thanks to my laptop breaking and uni deadlines I didn’t manage.  However, if like me your in a chocolate induced coma, I’ll use this as an opportunity to fill you in on what I’ve been up to lately!

What I’ve been up to

  • Uni:- I’ve finished all my history masters classes which seems crazy as I still feel as though I’ve just begun my post-grad.  Although the classes are finished, I still have two coursework essays to submit and a dissertation * which I should really think about starting*  I’m quite proud of myself for persevering through my masters because it has been quite intense but so far my grades have been good so I’m hoping that I can maintain the same standard
  • Gym:- Something new for 2018 has been that I’ve taken out a gym membership and started to work out on a *fairly* regular basis,  I’d never really been much of a gym person before but weirdly the more I’ve been going, the more I’ve actually been enjoying myself.  I usually walk there and back as well as do a 45 min workout so all in all I get about 2hrs of exercise.  I’m hoping to get into a better routine now that uni has stopped and go about 3 times a week
  • Driving!:- Something else that I’ve started to do is take driving lessons! I’ve always had a bit of a mental block when its come to thinking about driving because I’ve tended to think that I’d be pretty disastrous at it and that it’s been better for me to just not bother.  However, lately, since joining the gym and having to either rely on the hourly bus service or walk the 45 min journey, I’ve thought how much easier it would be to just be able to drive.  So I have taken the plunge and booked some lessons and so far I’m really enjoying it!

I’m off on holiday to the South of France on Wednesday so I’m looking forward to a nice break before returning to start work on my dissertation and start properly job hunting. Be sure to leave me a comment below and follow the blog if you’re not already doing so 🙂
