So I’m just back from a few days holiday in the South of France. Although it went in super fast it was lovely to take a break and experience some warm weather for a change. I managed to streamline my makeup for going away and thought that this could make a good post for those who are going on holiday soon.
*Tips*
- Travel makeup brushes. If you read this blog post back in January, then you’ll know that I got a set of morphe brushes for my Christmas. Not only do they look pretty, but they come in a tub which makes travelling with them a dream. Although slightly smaller than my real techniques ones, they are really good quality and don’t take up too much room in luggage.
2) Only take 2 lip products. As tempting as it can be to take away five lipsticks, most of the time you never get round to wearing them all so on this holiday I only brought with me my YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick and my L’Oreal lip paint matt cream in the shade 208. I also brought a L’Oreal lip liner to wear in the evenings. This meant that I had the option of either a matt or no matt lipstick.
3) Try to bring a compact makeup product, What I mean by this is that it’s useful to bring a product such as my Rimmel London sculpting palette which has a bronzer, blush and highlighter in small compact packaging. This saves so much space when packing and means that you don’t have to spend ages looking for three separate products.
I hope that you like this post and found it relatively useful in giving a few hacks round how to prioritise what makeup you bring on holiday. Be sure to leave me a comment below and follow if you’re not already doing so.
