A Weekend in London

So last Saturday I headed to London for the weekend and flew back Monday night.  From Glasgow to London is possibly the quickest flight ever, we actually spent more time circling the hold at Gatwick than we did in the flight itself.  Funnily enough I had never been to London before so naturally I wanted to see the sights and do all the tourist stuff but with only one weekend it was a race against time.  We stayed in the Pimlico Area which was really handy for Victoria.

I power walked through the streets and up and down the tube stations jumping from all the different tube lines to make sure that I crammed as much as possible into my weekend.  I visited Buckingham Palace *and the Queen was in residence*, posed in a photo booth in Topshop Oxford St, made a visit to the massive Lush, munched down a Shake Shack on Saturday night in Covent Garden, mosed around Victoria and Victoria Station, saw Big Ben at Westminster, jumped off the tube at Tower Bridge and went to the Emirates Experience flight simulator with my brother in Greenwich AND visited the Imperial War Museum  ALL IN 1 WEEKEND

I’ve left London with many memories ( and a lighter bank balance) but I truly loved my weekend there.  Next time I’m aiming for visiting Leister Square, Notting hill and Primrose hill as well as many other areas of London such as Shoreditch.
