If you read my blog post on what I got for Christmas (which I shall link here incase you haven’t already read it), then you will know that I got the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow palette. I realise that I am quite late to jump on the bandwagon of this palette as every blogger and their granny seem to have owned it for quite some time now.
I was therefore enabled by the likes of Vivianna Does Makeup, Lily Pebbles and Hello October that I really should have this palette in my life. Those girls really do know how to get the money flying out of my bank account! So it was nice to finally have a present idea for a friend of the family to buy me.
I’ve not been disappointed in the slightest by this palette, all shades are super wearable and really buttery which means that they blend really well and also last the day. I’d say 6 of the shades have finally milled glitter pigments. The shade bitter start is a matte white which is perfect for the brow bone and as an all over lid colour. Substitute for love is another matte colour this time a milk chocolate brown which is lovely in the crease. There is also a black shade, beans and white, which could be used for either smudged eyeliner or a smoky eye.
The rest of the colours are golds, bronze, cranberry, dark purple a blue/grey sparkly colour. Therefore, the colour mixes in this palette are super wearable and perfect for both everyday looks and nights out. I would even go to say that it is a competitor for the Urban Decay Naked Palette at a far more reasonable price of £15. Not only is the palette stunning, price fantastic and all colours super wearable but its a slick palette which is great if you travel.
Hope you liked my thoughts on the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette, I really do love it! Leave your thoughts in the comments and as always follow my blog if your new!
